لِلَّهِ نورِيَّةُ المُحَيّا

لِلَّهِ نورِيَّةُ المُحَيّا

تَحمِلُ نارِيَّةُ الحُمَيّا

تَحمِلُ نارِيَّةُ الحُمَيّا

How wondrous she of the radiant face,

To Allah belongs the radiant brightness

bearing wine of fiery heat!

Bearing the fiery heat

وَالدَوحُ رَطبُ المَهَزِّ لَدنٌ

وَالدَوحُ رَطبُ المَهَزِّ لَدنٌ

قَد رَقَّ رَيّا وَطابَ رَيّا

قَد رَقَّ رَيّا وَطابَ رَيّا

And the great trees are tender in their swaying, supple;

The juicy, soft-fleshed palm tree,

they have grown delicate with moisture and sweet with fragrance.

Its spit is delicate and its scent pleasant,

تَجَسَّمَ النورُ فيهِ نَوراً

تَجَسَّمَ النورُ فيهِ نَوراً

فَكُلُّ غُصنٍ بِهِ ثُرَيّا

فَكُلُّ غُصنٍ بِهِ ثُرَيّا

Light has taken bodily form in them as blossoms,

The light took physical form in it as light

so every branch upon them is the Pleiades.

So every branch of it has become rich
