And on an evening of pleasant company, rapture laid me down;
In the bliss of an evening I lay down to rest
There it readies my resting place and makes it soft.
As comfort cradles and soothes me to sleep

The canopy above casts its shade o’er my bed
And the branch listens while the doves converse.
The branches whisper and doves softly cheep

And the sun inclines toward sunset, ailing,
The ailing sun drops its wings in the west
And thunder recites a healing charm, and the cloud spits lightly.
As thunder rumbles and clouds darkly seep
