is ample in means, narrow in character.

Clear in state, narrow in morals

يكسد النصح عنده ويبور

الصدق ولكن ينمي نفاق النفاق

Counsel finds no market with him, nor does

Advice languishes with him, and honesty sinks

truth; yet the market for hypocrisy grows.

While hypocrisy flourishes
