حين بانَ الخليطُ وازدادَ وجدي

قلت والدمع في الخدودِ يسيل

When the company departed and my longing grew,

When the mixture appeared and my passion increased

I said, as tears streamed down my cheeks:

I said, with tears flowing down my cheeks,

يا رسولي إليه روحيَ خذها

يا رسولي إليه روحيَ خذها

منجداً إِثره بها يا رسولُ

منجداً إِثره بها يا رسولُ

O my messenger to him, take my soul,

O my Messenger, take my soul to Him

Heading for Najd in his wake with it, O messenger.
