روضa garden فأبصرناso we saw العجايبthe wonders
روض فأبصرنا العجايب
We wandered with the beloved in
a garden, and saw wonders:
ماnot دارhe turned إِلاّexcept وانثنتand bent
ما دار إِلاّ وانثنت
أغصانهits branches منfrom كلevery جانبside
أغصانه من كل جانب
No sooner did he turn than
its branches bent on every side.
