I see the heart divided among beautiful women.

I see the heart scattered among the beauties

And every day, in ardent longing, I meet my death.

And every day in youth comes my demise

ولا ثم لي وعد من الحب منجز

ولا فرصة في حبه تتوقع

Nor is there any promise from the beloved fulfilled for me,

No promise of love has been fulfilled for me

Nor can I hope for a chance to win his love.
