يا ربّ أنت الله حلمك صافح
عنof كلّevery جانٍoffender عُذرهhis excuse مُتَعَذَّرُimpossible to offer
عن كلّ جانٍ عُذره مُتَعَذَّرُ
O Lord, You are God; Your forbearance is forgiving
O Lord, You are God, Your pardon is pure
Of every offender who can offer no excuse.
Overlooking every sinner whose excuse is unsound
إنّيindeed I وإنand though كَبُرتhave grown great ذنوبيmy sins مُطعميmy nourisher
