إذاif كنتyou are فيin خطبcalamity فكنthen be ثابتsteadfast الحشىthe heart

فكمfor many a فرجdeliverance بينbetween الصباحthe morning إلىuntil العشاthe evening
فكم فرج بين الصباح إلى العشا
If you are in dire distress, keep your heart steadfast;

فقلت الهى وهو يفعل ما يشا
They ask, “Whom do you look to in every hardship?”
They say, “In whom do you place your hope amid every hardship?”
I answered, “Love”—and Love does whatever it wills.
So I said, “My God—and He does whatever He wills.”
