Coquettish—coy grace sways his supple figure
As the breeze sways tender branches.
لاdo not تنكرواfind strange الغصونthe branches إذاwhen شداsings
لا تنكروا الغصون إذا شدا
فيهاwithin them الحمامthe doves برقةwith the delicacy of الالحانthe melodies
فيها الحمام برقة الالحان
Do not find the branches strange when
Doves sing within them with delicate melodies.
ماnot غردتwarbled ورقgray doves الحمىthe sanctuary فيin بانهاits bān trees
ما غردت ورق الحمى في بانها
إلاexcept بوصفby describing رشاقةgracefulness فيin بانيmy bān tree
إلا بوصف رشاقة في باني
The sanctuary's gray doves have never warbled in its bān trees
