مَنْ حلَّ شروين له منزلا

فلتنهه الأولى عن الثانيهْ

فلتنهه الأولى عن الثانيهْ

Whoever takes up residence in Sharwin,

Whoever frees two captives, a dwelling awaits him;

Let his first stay deter him from a second;

So let him set the first one free rather than the second.

فليس يدعوه إلى بيته

فليس يدعوه إلى بيته

إلاّ فتى في بيته زانيهْ

إلاّ فتى في بيته زانيهْ

For no one invites him into his home

For none should invite him into his house,

Except a young man with an adulteress in his home.
