ومال بها الرسول إلى سعيدِ

ومال بها الرسول إلى سعيدِ

Fawz tricked you on the pretext of going to the bathhouse,

Your illness has granted you triumph, my love

And the messenger led her to Sa‘id.

And the messenger leaned towards Sa'eed

أرى أخبار دارك عنك تخفى

أرى أخبار دارك عنك تخفى

فكيفَ وليتَ أخبارَ البريدِ

فكيفَ وليتَ أخبارَ البريدِ

I see that news of your household is hidden from you;

I see the news of your house is hidden from you

How, then, were you entrusted with the postal reports?
