أشهد كلَّ مسلمٍ شهادة

أشهد كلَّ مسلمٍ شهادة

مَن لا يبيعُ دينَه تلاده

مَن لا يبيعُ دينَه تلاده

I call every Muslim to witness this testimony:

I bear witness for every Muslim a testimony

of one who will not sell his faith, his ancestral heritage,

He who does not sell his religion or homeland

ما بين أقصى ضرعه فصاده

ما بين أقصى ضرعه فصاده

أو مَلك يلقى له آساده

أو مَلك يلقى له آساده

for all between the farthest reach of his ḍarʿ and his ṣād (wording unclear),

What lies between the two ears of his bucket or what pours out

or for a king to whom his lions are cast.

Or a king who finds rest for him
