وإن امرأً نال الغنى ثم لم يُنل

وإن امرأً نال الغنى ثم لم يُنل

صديقاً ولا ذا حاجةٍ لزهيدُ

صديقاً ولا ذا حاجةٍ لزهيدُ

And indeed, a man who gains wealth, then does not give

And if a man attained wealth, then did not attain

To a friend or one in need, is truly of little worth.

A friend, nor one in need for a trifle,
