    وجبينِ الشمس وطلْعتِهِ

    Welcome to the singing of its nightingales,

    and the sun's brow and its rising.

    بنسائمِهِ وأشعَّتِهِ

    Welcome to dawn as it shakes my hand

    with its breezes and its rays,

  5. بزهورِ الرَّوضِ وما نفحتْ

    من عطرٍ فوقَ عباءَتِهِ

    with the garden's flowers and what they wafted

    of fragrance over its cloak.

  6. أهلاً بمليكةِ وجداني

    وأميرتِهِ وطبيبتِهِ

    Welcome to the queen of my heart,

    and its princess and its healer.

  7. أهلاً بسفيرةِ أحلامي

    وهوى قلبي وحبيبتِهِ

    Welcome to the ambassador of my dreams,

    and my heart's love and its beloved.

  8. أهلاً أرسمُها خارِطةً

    لروابي الحبِّ ودوحَتِهِ

    Welcome—I draw her as a map

    of love's hills and its spreading tree.
