يا ذا المصاب توسّل كلما انفدحت

يا ذا المصاب توسّل كلما انفدحت

لك الخطوب ولا تجزع من الضرر

لك الخطوب ولا تجزع من الضرر

O afflicted one, seek intercession whenever they grow grievous—

O afflicted one, plead continuously whenever calamities befall you

the calamities that befall you—and do not lose heart over harm.

Misfortunes are destined for you, so do not despair of harm

ولا تزل بالنبيّ الفرد متّصلاً

ولا تزل بالنبيّ الفرد متّصلاً

فكل رزءٍ إذا ما ناب لم يضِرِ

فكل رزءٍ إذا ما ناب لم يضِرِ

And never cease to be bound to the peerless Prophet,

And do not cease being connected to the unique Prophet

For every affliction, when it strikes, will do no harm.

For every mishap, when it passes, will not bring harm

ولا تملّ فكلّ العالمين به

ولا تملّ فكلّ العالمين به

وإن بهم حلّ خطبٌ فيه تستجر

وإن بهم حلّ خطبٌ فيه تستجر

And do not weary, for all the worlds are bound to him;

And do not tire, for all the worlds are through him

And if calamity befalls them, seek refuge in him.

And if grave affairs befall them, in him lies deliverance

فكل خطبٍ به ترجى إزالته

فكل خطبٍ به ترجى إزالته

فإن ترمه فكم قد نلت من ظفر

فإن ترمه فكم قد نلت من ظفر

For every calamity, through him there is hope of its removal.

For every grave affair you hope to eliminate through him

So if you seek him, how many victories you have won!

If you seek him out, how much triumph you have attained

به يهون شديد النائبات إذا

به يهون شديد النائبات إذا

ما قام لله يجلوها على الأثر

ما قام لله يجلوها على الأثر

Through him, grievous calamities grow lighter whenever

Through him, severe tribulations become slight when

He rises for God, dispelling them at once.

He stands for God, dispelling them without delay

هو الكريم إذا ما جئت تسأله

هو الكريم إذا ما جئت تسأله

تسحّ كفّاه من نقدٍ ومن دُرَر

تسحّ كفّاه من نقدٍ ومن دُرَر

He is the generous one: whenever you come to ask him,

He is the Bountiful, so if you come asking him

His two palms pour forth coins and pearls.

His palms overflow with coins and pearls

فقم توسّل وسله دفع معضلةٍ

فقم توسّل وسله دفع معضلةٍ

جلّت فباللطف ينهيها إلى الصِّفَر

جلّت فباللطف ينهيها إلى الصِّفَر

So rise, seek intercession, and ask him to avert a predicament

So stand, plead, and ask him to relieve an intricate plight

That has grown grave; through grace he brings it to zero.

Sublime, and with kindness he will reduce it to nothing

فكلّنا بالنبي الفرد منتصر

فكلّنا بالنبي الفرد منتصر

نحيا بلطفٍ خفيٍّ دقَّ عن نظر

نحيا بلطفٍ خفيٍّ دقَّ عن نظر

For we are all victorious through the peerless Prophet;

For all of us, through the unique Prophet, are triumphant

We live by hidden grace too subtle for sight.

We live by an unseen subtle kindness beyond perception
