إِذا كُنتَ مَلحِيّاً مُسيئاً وَمُحسِناً

إِذا كُنتَ مَلحِيّاً مُسيئاً وَمُحسِناً

فَغَشيانُ ما تَهوى مِنَ الأَمرِ أَكيسُ

فَغَشيانُ ما تَهوى مِنَ الأَمرِ أَكيسُ

If you are charming whether acting ill or doing good,

If you are blamed whether you do wrong or good,

then pursuing whatever course you desire is the wiser way.

then pursuing the course you desire is wiser.
