The lands of al-Liwa have revived

With the arrival of this lion and the moon that journeys by night.

A cloud has come with water to drench its soil,

And with might he annihilates every oppressive tyrant.

And we have indeed praised God, then our imam,

The beacon of guidance, Abd al-Hamid, the Creator's hand,

The caliph of God's faith, guardian of its emblem,

Supported by him with troops and helpers.

For he has favored us with Talib, son of the noblest,

To remove the oppression of tyrants and evildoers.

O Hashimite, whose forefathers from of old

Have been humanity's succor in times of distress and poverty.

Al-Ahsa had indeed lain desolate until you restored it,

Through your judgment and unwavering resolve.

And you honored it after its long obscurity,

And freed it from the stain of humiliation and shame.

And because of the dignity and awe that overspread it,

Its assailants were sent back with downcast eyes.

And no wonder, since you are among humanity's noblest,

And no honor arises save from you.

And all have sought glory along the path of your striving,

And all walk the path of virtue through your bounty.

With you we find the most pleasant abode when we seek refuge,

And the noblest character and the finest renown,

And the fairest face, radiant with lordship,

And the most open hand, showering abundant gifts.

So may you ever be victorious in every endeavor,

Aided by the Lord with strength and insight.
