أُحيِّي في بني وطني الشبابا

I salute the youth among the sons of my homeland,

I salute the youth in my homeland

And behold in them a wondrous marvel.

And I see in them amazing wonders

وأرفعُ هامتي عِزًّا وفخراً

بهم وأراهمُ الأملَ المُجابا

بهم وأراهمُ الأملَ المُجابا

And I raise my head in honor and pride

I hold my head high, proud and glorious

Because of them, and see them as hope fulfilled.

With them, for they are the hoped-for promise

شبابُ جزيرتي وصقورُ سربي

شبابُ جزيرتي وصقورُ سربي

ومن ركبوا إلى العليا الصِّعابا

ومن ركبوا إلى العليا الصِّعابا

The youth of my peninsula and the falcons of my flock,

The youth of my island, the falcons of my flock

And those who braved hardships to reach the heights.

Who climbed the rugged heights unflinching

مضوا يتواثبون إلى مداها

مضوا يتواثبون إلى مداها

وينــتزعون حقَّهمُ غِلابا

وينــتزعون حقَّهمُ غِلابا

They pressed on, leaping toward the farthest heights,

They leapt forward to the farthest extent

And wresting their rights by force.

And seized their right, prevailing and conquering

طوَوا بُعد المدى كالنور يطوي

طوَوا بُعد المدى كالنور يطوي

طباق الكونِ يُشرقُ حيث غابا

طباق الكونِ يُشرقُ حيث غابا

They folded up vast distances, as light folds

They spanned vast distances like light traversing

The layers of the universe, shining where it had vanished.

تعالَوا في طموحهمُ فجاوزا

تعالَوا في طموحهمُ فجاوزا

المحيطات الصواخبَ والهِضابا

المحيطات الصواخبَ والهِضابا

They rose high in their ambition, and passed beyond

Come, in their ambition they transcended

The roaring oceans and the plateaus.

The clamorous oceans and the plateaus rugged

فيا عزمَ الشَّبابِ إذا تعالى

فيا عزمَ الشَّبابِ إذا تعالى

وحلَّق صاخباً يطوي السحابا

وحلَّق صاخباً يطوي السحابا

So, O resolve of youth, when you rise aloft

So rise, oh determination of youth

And soar with a roar, folding up the clouds,

When you soar loud, crossing the clouds above

سلِمْتَ ولا عثرْتَ فأنت فينا

سلِمْتَ ولا عثرْتَ فأنت فينا

الرَّجا المنظورُ صِدقاً لا كِذَابا

الرَّجا المنظورُ صِدقاً لا كِذَابا

May you be safe and never stumble, for you are among us

Whether you stumble or stay steady, in us you are

The hope we behold—in truth, not falsehood.

The hoped-for sincerity, no lies or falsehood
