أَيُّها العائِذُ في مَكَّةَ كَم

أَيُّها العائِذُ في مَكَّةَ كَم

مِن دَمٍ أَجرَيتَهُ في غَيرِ دَم

مِن دَمٍ أَجرَيتَهُ في غَيرِ دَم

O you who seek refuge in Mecca, how much

O you who take refuge in Mecca, how much

blood you have shed, not in requital for blood!

Blood have you spilled that is not blood

أَيَدٌ عائِذَةٌ مُعصِمَةٌ

أَيَدٌ عائِذَةٌ مُعصِمَةٌ

وَيَدٌ تَقتُلُ مَن جاءَ الحرم

وَيَدٌ تَقتُلُ مَن جاءَ الحرم

Is one hand seeking refuge and protection,

A hand taking refuge, protected

while another kills whoever comes to the Sanctuary?

And a hand that kills those who come to the sanctuary
