Never liken a corpulent man with a prominent navel,

whose pavilion is vast and whose mount is comfortable,

to an illustrious man who makes swords his pavilion,

marching with his banner like a swaying lion.

God conquered, through a fierce charge he had launched,

all that lay between its people's east and the west.

Muhammad, Marwan's illustrious son, brought together

    their Ashtar's son and Mus'ab.
