تُهدِّدُنيshe threatens me بتَصارِيفهاwith her vicissitudes
تُهدِّدُني بتَصارِيفها
فأينَwhere, then المَعاليnoble achievements وفُرقانُهاand their criterion
فأينَ المَعالي وفُرقانُها
She threatens me with her vicissitudes.

وراحَتُهُand his palm لمnot تزَلcease سُحبُهاits clouds

وسُلطانُهand his power فيamid تَصارِيفهاher vicissitudes
وسُلطانُه في تَصارِيفها
عَزيزٌmighty إذاwhen عزَّgrows mighty سُلطانُهاher power
عَزيزٌ إذا عزَّ سُلطانُها
And his power amid her vicissitudes
And its authority in its fluctuations
is mighty when her power grows mighty.
Is mighty when its authority is mighty.
تُراهاdo you think she تُقاومُنيresists me بَعدَafter ذاthis
تُراها تُقاومُني بَعدَ ذا
وقدand indeed عَظُمتhas grown great وعَلاand has risen شانُهاher stature
وقد عَظُمت وعَلا شانُها
Do you think she can resist me after this,
You see it resisting me after this
though she has grown great and her stature has risen?
When it has grown great and its affair is exalted.

أبا نَصرٍ ادرِك بنصرٍ فقَد

O Abu Nasr, come to my aid with victory, for indeed
