قذفَت به في داركَ الأرضُ
O son of Prophecy, a poet through and through—
O son of prophethood, a poet through and through—
the earth has cast him into your dwelling.

فاحضِرهُso summon him تسمَعyou will hear ماwhat يقولُhe says فقدfor indeed
فاحضِرهُ تسمَع ما يقولُ فقد
وافاكَhe has come to you أيسرُthe easiest سَيرهِof his travel رَكضُrunning
وافاكَ أيسرُ سَيرهِ رَكضُ
Summon him and hear what he has to say, for
So summon him; you will hear what he says, for
he has come to you: even his gentlest pace is a gallop.
He has come to you, his gentlest pace a run.
