جزاك اللَه عن موسى وعيسى

جزاك اللَه عن موسى وعيسى

وأمةِ ذا وهذا كل خيرِ

وأمةِ ذا وهذا كل خيرِ

May God reward you, on behalf of Moses and Jesus,

And the followers of each, with every good.

قسمتَ الناسَ بينهما سَواءً

قسمتَ الناسَ بينهما سَواءً

فما أبقيتَ للإسلام غَيري

فما أبقيتَ للإسلام غَيري

You divided the people equally between them,

So you left no one for Islam but me.

ولستُ أقيم بعدَهم لِدينٍ

ولستُ أقيم بعدَهم لِدينٍ

تقامُ صلاتُه بنَهيقِ عيرِ

تقامُ صلاتُه بنَهيقِ عيرِ

Nor will I remain, after them, devoted to a faith

Whose prayer is performed to the braying of an ass.
