أقُل حالي وإنَّ مقالَ حالي

أقُل حالي وإنَّ مقالَ حالي

لَمِن قُبح التَّحلِّي بالمُحالِ

لَمِن قُبح التَّحلِّي بالمُحالِ

I tell of my state, and indeed an account of my state

is part of the ugliness of adorning oneself with the impossible.
