نِعمُ اللَّهِ يا ابنَ عَبدِ اللَّهِ

نِعمُ اللَّهِ يا ابنَ عَبدِ اللَّهِ

في المَلاهي فَدِن بِدينِ المَلاهي

في المَلاهي فَدِن بِدينِ المَلاهي

God's blessings, O son of Abd Allah,

O blessings of Allah, O son of Abdullah

are in pleasures; so adhere to the creed of pleasures.

In pleasures, come closer with the religion of pleasures

واسقنيها حَمراءَ إن وَصَفُوها

واسقنيها حَمراءَ إن وَصَفُوها

وتَناهَوا فَحظُّهم في التَّناهي

وتَناهَوا فَحظُّهم في التَّناهي

And pour it for me red; if they describe it

Serve it to me red, if they attribute it

and reach the utmost, their share lies in reaching the utmost.

And they covet, so their lot is in coveting

وترشّف أفواهَ تلكَ الأباري

وترشّف أفواهَ تلكَ الأباري

قِ فَتِلكَ الأفواهُ كالأَفواهِ

قِ فَتِلكَ الأفواهُ كالأَفواهِ

And sip from the mouths of those ewers—

And sip, those mouths of the innocent ones

for those mouths are like mouths.

Say, those mouths are like the mouths
