لآلِ المصطفى عِلْمُ وجودٌ

لآلِ المصطفى عِلْمُ وجودٌ

يحوزُهما مَجيدٌ أو نَجيبُ

يحوزُهما مَجيدٌ أو نَجيبُ

The family of the Chosen One possess knowledge and generosity;

For the luminaries of the Chosen One knowledge exists

An illustrious or noble man possesses them both.

Possessed by a glorious or noble one

وفي هذا الزَّمان من البرايا

وفي هذا الزَّمان من البرايا

لمحمودَين ساقَهما النصيب

لمحمودَين ساقَهما النصيب

And in this age, among humankind,

And in this time from the deserts

To two Mahmuds, fortune has brought them both.

For two praiseworthies fate led them

تَورَّث علمَهم قَمَرُ الفتاوى

تَورَّث علمَهم قَمَرُ الفتاوى

وشمسٌ ما لها أبداً مغيب

وشمسٌ ما لها أبداً مغيب

The moon of fatwas inherited their knowledge,

He inherited their knowledge, the moon of religious rulings

And a sun that never sets.

And a sun without setting

وحازَ فخارهم وكذا علاهم

وحازَ فخارهم وكذا علاهم

وجودهم تَوَرَّثه النقيب

وجودهم تَوَرَّثه النقيب

And he attained their glory and likewise their eminence;

And gained their pride and heights

And the naqib inherited their generosity.

Their existence inherited by the sincere
