فأن قلت أرضاً فأنـتِ الوطـن

وأن صرتُ بحراً فأنتِ السماء

وأن صرتُ بحراً فأنتِ السماء

So if I say “land,” then you are the homeland.

If I say a land then you are the homeland

And if I become a sea, then you are the sky.

And if I become a sea then you are the sky

وأنتِ في قلبي الوليد حياة

وأنتِ في قلبي الوليد حياة

وأنتِ من غدر الزمان شفاء

وأنتِ من غدر الزمان شفاء

And you are life in my newborn heart.

And you are the newborn life in my heart

And you are a cure for time’s treachery.

And you are the cure from the treachery of time
