هِيَ العَزائِمُ لا بَيضٌ وَخَرصانُ

هِيَ العَزائِمُ لا بَيضٌ وَخَرصانُ

بِها اِستَباحَ العُلى الأَيقاظُ أَو صانوا

بِها اِستَباحَ العُلى الأَيقاظُ أَو صانوا

It is firm resolve, not gleaming swords and spears;

They are resolves, not eggs white and yellow,

Through it the vigilant won the heights or safeguarded them.

With them the vigilants conquered the heights, or they protected them.

المَلِكُ دَعوى إِذا ما العَزمُ صَدَّقَها

المَلِكُ دَعوى إِذا ما العَزمُ صَدَّقَها

أَتَت فُتوحٌ لَها في الخَلقِ بُرهانُ

أَتَت فُتوحٌ لَها في الخَلقِ بُرهانُ

Kingship is a claim; when resolve confirms it,

The king's claim, when resolve vouches for it,

Conquests come, with their proof among humankind.

Will bring about openings/conquests that manifest proofs among people.

فَالصِدقُ في القَولِ وَالأَفعالِ قاعِدَةً

فَالصِدقُ في القَولِ وَالأَفعالِ قاعِدَةً

لِكُلِّ أَمرٍ لَهُ في الناسِ بُنيانُ

لِكُلِّ أَمرٍ لَهُ في الناسِ بُنيانُ

So truthfulness in speech and deeds is a foundation

So truthfulness in speech and deed is the foundation,

For every undertaking built among people.

For everything important to people and building.

يا اِبنَ الَّذي طَهَّرَ البَيتَ المُقَدَّسِ مِن

يا اِبنَ الَّذي طَهَّرَ البَيتَ المُقَدَّسِ مِن

جيلٍ تَعبُدُهُم رَجسٌ وَأَوثانُ

جيلٍ تَعبُدُهُم رَجسٌ وَأَوثانُ

O son of him who cleansed the Holy House of

O son of the one who purified the sacred house from

A people enslaved by defilement and idols,

A people who worshipped idols and statues!

أَنتَ المُرادُ لِطَهرِ الساحِلَينِ مَعاً

أَنتَ المُرادُ لِطَهرِ الساحِلَينِ مَعاً

سارَعَ إِلَيهِ تُطِعكَ الرومُ وَاللانُ

سارَعَ إِلَيهِ تُطِعكَ الرومُ وَاللانُ

You are the one meant to purify both shores together;

You are the intended purifier of the two coasts together,

Hasten to it; the Romans and the Alans will obey you.

The Romans and the Persians hasten to obey you.
