وهل ثم نفس لا تميل إلى الهوى

Impossible—but there is the resolve to endure.

سُلالة هذا الخلق من ظهر واحد

وللكل شرب من قوى ذلك الظهر

وللكل شرب من قوى ذلك الظهر

The lineage of these creatures stems from a single back,

This human race springs from a single back.

And each has a draught from the strength of that back.

And each one drinks strength from that back.
