أرى الدنيا جميعا دون قدرك

Be gracious and accept it, for I

Graciously deign to accept this, for I

see the whole world as beneath your worth.

Deem the entire world beneath your worth.

لأنك بضعة المختار صرفاً

لأنك بضعة المختار صرفاً

ففخر الخلق طرا دون فخرك

ففخر الخلق طرا دون فخرك

For you are the Chosen One’s very flesh,

For you are a part of the Chosen One, pure and unmixed,

so all creation’s glory falls short of yours.

And the pride of all creation falls short of your pride.

وليس الناس غيركم بناس

وليس الناس غيركم بناس

إذا قاسوا بحارهم بدرّك

إذا قاسوا بحارهم بدرّك

Nor are people other than you truly people

Indeed, people other than you are not truly people

when they measure their seas against your pearls.

If they measure their vast seas against your pearls.

وإنك إن قبلت فدتك نفسي

وإنك إن قبلت فدتك نفسي

لقد حمّلتني أعباء شكرك

لقد حمّلتني أعباء شكرك

And you, if you accept—may my soul be your ransom—

And should you accept—may my soul be your ransom—

will indeed have laden me with the burdens of thanking you.

You will have laden me with the heavy burden of gratitude.
