وجودكم تتمنوا أنه دائمْ

وجودكم تتمنوا أنه دائمْ

لكم تحبونَهُ كلٌّ به هائمْ

لكم تحبونَهُ كلٌّ به هائمْ

You wish that your existence would endure

Your existence, they wish it everlasting

for you; you love it, each one enamored of it.

For you they love, each one infatuated

وكل واحدْ مقدَّرْ في العدمْ حائمْ

وكل واحدْ مقدَّرْ في العدمْ حائمْ

لم يدر أن وجودُهْ ربُّهُ القائمْ

لم يدر أن وجودُهْ ربُّهُ القائمْ

And each one is posited, hovering in nonexistence;

And every one in oblivion wandering

He did not know that his existence is his Lord, the Subsisting One.

Not knowing it's his Everlasting Lord existing
