نحن بالأمر الإلهي

كأنابيب المياه

We are by God's command

Like water pipes

صور نحن خلقنا

هكذا للإنتباه

Images we are created

Thus for attention

فإذا عنا غفلنا

فيه كنا كالشياه

If about us forgot

In it we were like the lost

وجمدنا مثل ثلج

ناله برد التلاهي

And we froze like snow

Afflicted by the cold of neglect

فتحقق ثم ذب في

حرِّ نفي الإشتباه

So realize then melt in

The heat of gotten rid of doubt

نحن خلق نحن أمر

نحن تقدير الإله

We are created we are command

We are God's decree

نحن لا شيء ولكن

نحن حكم الحق باهي

We are nothing but

We are the judgment of the magnificent Truth

نتبدَّى مثل برق

لامع في العين زاهي

We appear like lightning

Radiant in the eye delighted

ثم نخفى ثم نبدو

بأمور ونواهي

Then we hide then we appear

With matters and prohibitions

لمتى عينك عميا

لمتى قلبك ساهي

How long is your eye blind

How long is your heart lost

خلِّ عنك الطبع واسلك

في هدى غرِّ الجباه

Leave your nature and take

The path of heat of foreheads

مثل القوم الذي ما

أن له قط تناهي

Like the people which

Never for it has finitude

فسوى ذلك جهل

وضعيف القول واهي

So other than that ignorance

And weak speech and fallen
