1. شف ثوب الكائنات

    عن وجود الحق

    The robe of created beings has grown transparent,

    revealing the being of the Real.

  2. فوجود الحق ذات

    من وراء الخلق

    For the Real's being is the Essence

    behind creation.

  3. فانزعوا الثوب الرفات

    قبل أن ينشق

    So take off the worn-out robe

    before it tears apart,

  4. واشربوا ماء الحياة

    أنه قد رق

    and drink the water of life,

    for it has grown subtle.

  5. حسبت كل العقول

    معه ثاني

    All minds have supposed

    a second beside Him,

  6. بتآويل النقول

    دون إيمان

    through interpretations of transmitted texts,

    without faith.

  7. وعليها وهم غول

    فهم شيطاني

    And upon them lies a ghoul's delusion—

    a satanic understanding.

  8. فاثبتوا إن الثبات

    كاشفٌ ما دق

    So be steadfast, for steadfastness

    reveals what is subtle.

  9. كل من رام الشهود

    يرفع الإلباس

    Everyone who seeks witnessing

    dispels confusion,

  10. تاركاً دعوى الوجود

    زائل الإحساس

    abandoning the claim to existence,

    with sensation gone,

  11. حافظاً شرع الحدود

    ما له وسواس

    observing the law of prescribed limits,

    with no whispering doubt.

  12. والذي فيه التفات

    بالسوى ملحق

    And whoever turns his attention aside

    is attached to what is other than Him.

  13. وعلى طه السني

    صلواتٌ غرّْ

    And upon exalted Taha

    be radiant blessings,

  14. وعلى آل عني

    ثم صحب طُرّْ

    and upon the family intended,

    then upon all his companions,

  15. ماشدا عبد الغني

    بنظام الدرّْ

    as long as Abd al-Ghani sings

    with a string of pearls,

  16. وحباه بالهبات

    ربه المطلق

    and is favored with gifts

    by his Absolute Lord.
