عجزنا عن مواقع الشكر شكرٌ
لممدٍّto one who sustains فناءناour passing away بدوامِهْthrough His permanence
لممدٍّ فناءنا بدوامِهْ
Our inability to offer fitting thanks is itself thanksgiving
to the One who sustains our passing away through His permanence.
سيدa master منعمbestowing grace علىupon العبدthe servant حتىeven
سيد منعم على العبد حتى
غفلةheedlessness العبدthe servant عنهof Him منpart of إنعامِهْHis grace
غفلة العبد عنه من إنعامِهْ
A Master who bestows grace upon the servant—even
the servant’s heedlessness of Him is part of His grace.
