يا من به تتكوَّن الأكوانُ

وبأمره تتلون الألوانُ

O You through whom the worlds come into being,

O You by whom the universes are formed,

And by whose command colors take on their hues.

And by whose command the colors are made.

هي هذه هي هذه هي هذه

كل العوالم تلك والإنسان

كل العوالم تلك والإنسان

It is this, it is this, it is this:

This, this, this, this,

All those worlds, and humankind.

All those worlds and mankind.

هي كعبة الغيب المقدس طائف

هي كعبة الغيب المقدس طائف

أبداً بها ما يظهر الحدثان

أبداً بها ما يظهر الحدثان

It is the Kaaba of the sacred unseen; circling

It is the sacred unseen Kaaba,

Around it forever is whatever time brings forth.

In it events never appear.

ويمينها الحجرُ السعيد لبيعة

ويمينها الحجرُ السعيد لبيعة

قد مدَّ حيثُ شهودها الإيمان

قد مدَّ حيثُ شهودها الإيمان

And its right hand, the blessed Stone, for a pledge of allegiance,

Its blessed Black Stone for allegiance,

Has been extended, where beholding it is faith.

Has extended where its faith is witnessed.

والروح طائفة وجسمي طائف

والروح طائفة وجسمي طائف

هذا لهذا في الوجود قران

هذا لهذا في الوجود قران

And the spirit circles, and my body circles;

The soul circumambulates and my body circumambulates,

This is paired with that in existence.

This one is paired to that in existence.

حتى إذا كشف القناع وأشرقت

حتى إذا كشف القناع وأشرقت

تلك الحقيقة والعيان عيان

تلك الحقيقة والعيان عيان

Until, when the veil is lifted and there shines

Until the veil is lifted and the truth shines,

That reality, and vision is vision,

And that reality appears clearly.

وهناك يبرا القلب من داء الجفا

وهناك يبرا القلب من داء الجفا

وبوصلنا يتبدل الهجران

وبوصلنا يتبدل الهجران

And there the heart is healed of the sickness of estrangement,

There the heart is cured of the malady of estrangement,

And through our union, separation is transformed.

And by our reunion separation is transformed.
