Letters—in their stillness lies annihilation.
Letters in their stillness is execution
And in His existence they are assimilated,
And in their existence is assimilation
فيin وجودexistence الحقthe Real الذيwho لاnone سواهother than Him
فعليهso upon Him بهthrough Him ومنهand from Him السلامpeace
in the existence of the Real, besides whom there is none.
In the existence of the Truth, there is no other
So upon Him, through Him, and from Him be peace.
So to Him belong peace and from Him, greetings
إنindeed إدغامassimilation أحرفletters الكونthe cosmos فيهinto Him
لسكونbecause of stillness بهاwithin them هوit is الإنعامthe bestowal of grace
Indeed, the assimilation of the cosmos's letters into Him,
The assimilation of the letters of the universe in Him
because of a stillness within them, is the bestowal of grace.
Is stillness by which is blessing
فإذاso when ماfor emphasis تحركتthey move فكis released عنهاfrom them

So whenever they move, it is released from them;
So if they move, release them
then they become independent, and assimilation eludes them.
And they become independent and their assimilation passes

And for this reason my Lord says: His is whatever
And for this my Lord says to Him as long as
rests by night and day, forever.
The night and day remain

مcompletion of إدغام: assimilation لهاfor them فيهin Him أوor عليهاover them قيامsustaining
Thus, without stillness, there would be no assimilation
So without stillness, there would have been no assimilation
of them into Him, nor any sustaining of them.
For them in Him or establishment over them

قcompletion of الحق: the Real اختلافvariation لهاfor them بهthrough it وانقسامand division
The letters of created things arise from the breath of the Real;
The letters of the existents from the essence of the Truth
through it, they differ and divide.
Are differing for them with Him and division
فإذاso when ماfor emphasis تركبتare composed كلماتwords

Then, whenever they are composed into words,
So if words are compiled
these are recited, and together they form speech.
They are recited and their collection is speech

His utterance is the truth; so listen, O son of my love.
The word of the Truth so listen O son of fervor
And all else is falsehood—it is illusion.
And all else is falsehood, it is delusions

Exalted is the Lord, through whom creation subsists,
Exalted is the Lord by whom the land stood
not through knowledge; and those who know stand firm.
Not by knowledge, and the knowledgeable became upright
