حروف أرواح سقطْ

لها من الجسم نقطْ

لها من الجسم نقطْ

Letters are fallen spirits;

Letters are souls that fell

they have dots from the body.

From the body as drops fell

فالكل للذنب التَقَطْ

فالكل للذنب التَقَطْ

من ذا الذي ما ساء قطّْ

من ذا الذي ما ساء قطّْ

Thus all have picked up sin.

All have picked up sins

Who is there who has never done wrong?

Who is it that never did wrong

ومن له الحسنى فقطْ

ومن له الحسنى فقطْ

كن يا إلهي منقذي

كن يا إلهي منقذي

And who has goodness alone?

And who is it that only did good

Be, O my God, my deliverer

Be my Savior, my God

من كل شيطان بذي

من كل شيطان بذي

فشافعي من هول ذي

فشافعي من هول ذي

from every foul-mouthed devil.

From every wicked demon

So my intercessor against this terror is

Intercede for me from this horror
