Iron descended and became a cleaving sword.
The iron descended and became a piercing sword
It cleft the foes in eastern and western lands.
It divided the enemies into east and west

Within it is fierce might—indeed, benefits as well
Severe might in it, rather it has benefits
for humankind; let the obstinate opponent flee.
For people so let the obstinate flee escaping

With it the trusted one was its descent

So it captivated a heart with safety and molded it
