The Real is God: unique, everlasting, forever.

My “I” is falsehood, together with all I say and do.

يا أيها الباطل المغرور تطمع أن

ترى وجوداً بلا شبه ولا مثل

O deluded, illusory self, do you hope to

behold an existence with neither likeness nor peer?

وإنما أنت رأيٌ قد أضلك في

بطلانه فاقتصر واعرض عن الجدل

You are nothing but a notion that has led you astray through

Yes—you behold the light of the Face, appearing from Him,

Yes, you yourself see the light of the Face that shone forth from Him,

enveloping all created beings, from plain to mountain.

الله نور السموات استمع خبراً

والأرضِ عن ربِّنا في الذكر منه تُلي

Existence has appeared within every entity

Indeed, existence has appeared in every being—

that is nonexistent, and with respect to all, it stands manifest.
