Creation is nothing but the murmur of the River al-Kawthar.

Creation is but the murmuring of the river Al-Kawthar

This has indeed come down in a transmitted tradition.

This came in a hadith that inspires

والذات هي الجنة بل ما فيها

والذات هي الجنة بل ما فيها

فهي الأسماء فاعتبر من أثّرْ

فهي الأسماء فاعتبر من أثّرْ

And the Essence is Paradise; rather, what is within it

And the Essence is Paradise, rather, what is in it

is the Names—so consider the one who left an imprint.

It is the Names, so consider the one who takes heed
