out of longing for a radiant face.

The beloveds have wronged us—oh, I wonder what will happen!

And injustice is outright death.

Oh, if only I were present between the sanctuary and the station!

My wounded heart is there.

How often I roamed through the deserts, seeking the beauty of existence,

yet I found nothing but wind.

The men of divine manifestation were lost in love, and union's sweetness came,

in the glory of a vast dominion.

يا جيرة الحي قوموا إلى شهود القديم

فإنه قد أبيح

O neighbors of the encampment, rise to witness the Eternal One,

for it has indeed been permitted.
