We came to you on thoroughbred steeds,

We came to you on swift steeds

Like the wind on the day of racing.

Like the wind on the day of the race

عليها كل صنديد همام

عليها كل صنديد همام

شديد البأس يوم الحرب راقي

شديد البأس يوم الحرب راقي

Upon them is every valiant, resolute champion,

On them every brave warrior

Mighty in battle, rising on the day of war.

Powerful in war when it rages

نذل حماتكم بالسمر لما

نذل حماتكم بالسمر لما

نجول بها مع البيض الرقاق

نجول بها مع البيض الرقاق

We humble your defenders with tawny spears when

We humiliate your protector with spears when

We wheel about with them and with slender, gleaming swords.

We raid with the slender white swords

ونقتل كل ملعون وباغ

ونقتل كل ملعون وباغ

على الإسلام من أهل النفاق

على الإسلام من أهل النفاق

And we slay every accursed one and rebel

And kill every cursed transgressor

Against Islam, from among the hypocrites.

Against Islam of the hypocrites

ونحن حماة الدين الله حقاً

ونحن حماة الدين الله حقاً

نقر بأن رب العرش باقي

نقر بأن رب العرش باقي

And we are truly the defenders of God's religion;

And we are the true protectors of religion

We affirm that the Lord of the Throne endures,

We believe that the Lord of the Throne is Eternal

وأن محمداً خير البرايا

وأن محمداً خير البرايا

رسول الله للعلياء راقي

رسول الله للعلياء راقي

And that Muhammad is the best of creation,

And Muhammad is the best of creation

The Messenger of God, ascending to lofty heights.

The Messenger of God, exalted and sublime
