جَزىmay reward اللَهُGod الأَغَرَّal-Agharr جَزاءَa reward صِدقٍgenuineness
جَزى اللَهُ الأَغَرَّ جَزاءَ صِدقٍ
إِذاwhen ماemphatic particle ووجِهَتis confronted خَيلٌcavalry بِذُعرِwith terror
إِذا ما ووجِهَت خَيلٌ بِذُعرِ
May God grant al-Agharr a fitting reward,
May God reward the most courageous with the reward of truthfulness
when cavalry is confronted with terror.
