Take heed! Tell the owners of pregnant she-camels: leave them untended;
O say to those who stir up strife, let go
for Yazid has repented of what you know.
For Yazid has repented of what you know

And indeed, a man who escapes the Fire after
And truly, after being touched by hell's heat
provisioning himself with deeds that lead to it is truly fortunate.
A man who then makes good is blessed indeed

When death’s decrees miss you and strike
And when by chance death's dart your dear friend hits
your dear companion, then know that they will return.
Be sure, though gone, again you two shall meet
