أنت رمز الخلود رمز العلاء

Banner of the Chosen One, flutter in the sky!

You are the symbol of eternity, the symbol of exaltation.

اخفقي تخفق القلوب حنانا

ورجاء يفوق حد الرجاء

Flutter, and hearts will beat with tenderness,

And hope that surpasses the bounds of hope.

رمقتك العيون من كل أفق

وحبتك القلوب محض الولاء

Eyes have gazed upon you from every horizon,

And hearts have bestowed pure allegiance upon you.

منك تستلهم الزحوف نشيدا

عبقريا يثير روح الفداء

From you the advancing hosts draw an anthem,

Inspired, stirring the spirit of self-sacrifice,

ويعيد الآمال تدفق نورا

لؤؤي السناء ثر الضياء

And making hopes flow anew as light,

Pearly in radiance, abundant in brilliance,

ويهز النفوس نحو المعالي

ويريها كرامة الشهداء

And stirring souls toward lofty heights,

And showing them the dignity of martyrs,

ويميط اللثام عن كل قلب

ساورته الشكوك بالارتقاء

And lifting the veil from every heart

Beset by doubts about rising higher,

ويقود الجموع بالعزم للنصر

وينفي حثالة الدخلاء

And leading the multitudes with resolve to victory,

And banishing the dregs of intruders,

ويشد القلوب بالرب حتى

لا تزيغ القلوب بالأهواء

And binding hearts to the Lord, so that

Hearts do not stray through passions.

أنت يا راية النبي عقاب

ضارب في السمو للجوزاء

You, O banner of the Prophet, are an eagle,

Soaring through the heights toward al-Jawza.

فيك معنى المجد العظيم ومعنى

العز والفضل والعلى والاباء

In you is the meaning of great glory, and the meaning

Of honor, excellence, loftiness, and noble pride.

انت يا راية النبي منار

يجعل الأفق ضاحك الأرجاء

You, O banner of the Prophet, are a beacon

That makes the horizon smile in all its reaches.

بسناه يمحو الدجى وينير

الدرب للعدل والهدى والبناء

With its radiance it dispels the darkness and lights

The path to justice, guidance, and building.

رفرفي في سمائنا وأظلي

موكب السالكين درب الإخاء

Flutter in our sky, and cast your shade over

The procession of those who tread the path of brotherhood.
