ألا أبلغ لديك بني لؤي

ألا أبلغ لديك بني لؤي

على الشنآن والغضب المردي

على الشنآن والغضب المردي

Hear this: tell the sons of Luʾayy who are with you,

Lo! I've come to report unto you,

despite hatred and deadly anger,

Despite your enmity and rage,

بأن الله رب الناس فرد

بأن الله رب الناس فرد

تعالى جده عن كل ند

تعالى جده عن كل ند

that God, Lord of humankind, is One;

That God alone is Lord of all,

His majesty is exalted above every rival;

Exalted high above all peers.

وأن محمداً عبد رسول

وأن محمداً عبد رسول

دليل هدى وموضح كل رشد

دليل هدى وموضح كل رشد

and that Muhammad is a servant and messenger,

That Muhammad is His servant true,

a guide to the right way, making all right conduct clear.

To guidance pointing straight and clear.

رأيت له دلائل أنبأتني

رأيت له دلائل أنبأتني

بأن سبيله يهدي لقصد

بأن سبيله يهدي لقصد

I saw signs of his that told me

His proofs and signs attest for me

that his path leads to the right course,

That following him brings virtues near.

وأن الله جلله بهاء

وأن الله جلله بهاء

وأعلى جده في كل جد

وأعلى جده في كل جد

and that God clothed him in splendor

That God has graced him with renown

and exalted his glory among all glories.

And raised his name above all seers.
