وفيand in غَطَفَانَGhatafan عِذْقُa cluster of dates عِزٍّglory مُمَنَّعٌunassailable
وفي غَطَفَانَ عِذْقُ عِزٍّ مُمَنَّعٌ
عَلَىin رَغْمِspite of أَقْوَامٍgroups of people مِنَamong النَّاسِthe people يَانِعُripe
عَلَى رَغْمِ أَقْوَامٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَانِعُ
And in Ghatafan is an unassailable date-cluster of glory,
In its branches a proud vine, well-guarded,
ripe despite the wishes of some among the people.
Despite some people who begrudge and covet.
