مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرْنٍ وأَهْلِ الضَّيْقِ مِنْ حَرِمِ
The apparition arrived, though it did not come to you from nearby,
The phantoms have come, though none have come to you,
from the people of Qarn and the people of al-Dayq in Harim.
From people of an age, and folk of narrow means, of harem.

It was at Qarn at nightfall; scarcely had evening grown dewy for it
Last eve they came to Qarn; the twilight did not fade for them
when it sighted a fire from tents at al-Zawra'.
Until they camped at Zawra, amid tents.
