He indeed knew Your greatness, O my Lord.

Grant him abundant reward from You, multiplying it.

He lived devoted to his faith and died affirming God's oneness.

He never went against the upright sacred law.

And protect his little daughters after his passing.

The horror of their father's death has left them trembling.

They weep in grief for him, with eyes

That have truly come to shed blood.

    Everyone pleads in prayer—answer us,

O our Lord, and enfold Atif in Your kindness.

And make the highest gardens of Paradise his dwelling places.

And grant him, O Lord, ample shade.
