أَمُفَنِّدي في حُبِّ آلِ مُحَمَدٍ
حَجَرٌ بفيكَ فَدَع مَلامَكَ أَو زِدِ
Would you censure me for loving the House of Muhammad?
O you who reproach me for loving Muhammad’s family,
A stone in your mouth! Cease your reproach—or heap on more.

مَن لَم يَكُن بِحبالِهِم مُتَمَسِّكاً
فَليَعتَرِف بِولاءِ مَن لَم يَرشُدِ
Whoever does not hold fast to their cords
Whoever does not hold fast to their ropes,
should profess allegiance to one who has not found right guidance.
Then let him acknowledge allegiance to one who has not followed the right path.
